What the role is:Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager (Alumni)What you will be working on:We seek a dynamic candidate to lead, develop and execute policies and programmes related to the CCA Excellence Awards/Scholarships/CCA Assistance Funds. This role involves crafting appropriate selection criteria, coordinating various activities, and ensuring the effective implementation of these projects. The ideal candidate would have a strong background in events management, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for student development.The candidate would be the main lead for the CCA Excellence Awards/Scholarships/Assistance Funds, managing the processes from end-to-end including but not limited to:

  • Work with stakeholders on the nominations of deserving students.
  • Manage nomination and application processes, including checking of students\' eligibility, support the shortlisting and selection committee and submit proposal for approval.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders for disbursements of funds to students.
  • Manage and update the management on the fund usage.
  • Review the validity of the selection criteria of the CCA Excellence Awards/Scholarships/Assistance Funds.
  • Recommend new initiatives to improve the rubrics of the CCA Excellence Awards/Scholarships/CCA Assistance Funds for the management\'s considerations (if any).
  • Lead in organizing award ceremonies and scholarship events.
The successful candidate would also be involved in sourcing for funds such as conduct donation campaigns through soliciting donations from our Alumni or other means and managing internal fundings for the relevant CCA Excellence Awards/Scholarships/Assistance Funds.Additionally, the successful candidate is expected to be involved in TP alumni/student engagement efforts including but not limite
  • Support the engagement of alumni through meeting and profiling prominent / outstanding alumni as well as alumni-related events/activities.
  • Work with relevant partners and stakeholders in creating strong communication channels with alumni and students to increase participation rate/ visibility for SDAA programmes and activities.
  • Manage and lead in division/department-wide events and activities where required.
What we are looking for:JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • A tertiary education with at least 5 years of working experience
  • Excellent communications (written and spoken), interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Experience in event and project management
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office and online tools
  • Willing to work beyond normal office hours to host events as and when required.
  • Have a positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
