What the role is:The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) serves as the regulatory and developmental agency for the early childhood sector in Singapore, overseeing key aspects of children\'s development below the age of 7, across both kindergartens and child care centres. The Sector Funding Branch administers supply-side funding schemes for preschool operators to increase access to quality and affordable early childhood care and education. We also ensure preschool market changes and consolidation take place with minimal disruption and impact to parents and children. We are looking for a team player to join us. You will play a key role in designing and implementing funding schemes and policies for preschool operators. You will need to be meticulous to ensure compliance and accurate fund administration. You would also have excellent engagement and communication skills to work closely with various stakeholders including preschool operators and government agencies to achieve scheme outcomes. You will be given opportunities to transform and streamline existing work processes with the use of data and technology.What you will be working on:Specifically, you will undertake (including but not limited to) the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct scheme reviews including funding models and scheme parameters to ensure that they remain relevant in support of affordable, accessible and quality (AAQ) preschools for children \xe2\x80\xa2 Review operational policies to refine and improve the administration of schemes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Administer grant scheme including: - Evaluate and approve scheme applications - Prepare contractual agreements - Ensure accurate disbursement of funds - Audit operators, including procuring audit services, reviewing of audit requirements and overseeing the audit process. \xe2\x80\xa2 Build/ implement enhancements to the grant and reporting system to streamline operations and support policy initiatives. \xe2\x80\xa2 Leverage data-driven strategies to optimize operational processes and drive efficiency (e.g. identify high risk applications/claims and track performance of operators) \xe2\x80\xa2 Create visualisation and dashboards to communicate insights to management and end usersWhat we are looking for:- Tertiary qualification in any discipline.
