[What the role is]
We are looking for service-oriented individuals to join the Operations & Facilities Management Department which oversees the operation and maintenance of Government cemeteries, crematoria and columbaria. You will be stationed at Mandai and Choa Chu Kang Cemetery, Crematorium & Columbarium Complexes and will play a key role in providing after-death care service.
[What you will be working on]
Your duties include:
Assist the Senior Assistant Director / Senior Manager to perform daily audit checks to monitor compliance with established guidelines and SOPs.
Document, maintain audit findings and analyse monthly reports.
Identify areas for improvements and report findings to management.
Review, prepare and implement quality assurance processes when required.
Provide coaching / briefings to officers and outsourced contractors to ensure SOPs are met when required.
Plan and carry out changes and improvements to processes to enhance operational efficiency of facilities and service reliability.
Assist in the investigation of feedback/incidents.
Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
[What we are looking for]
The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:
Minimum 3 years of working experience in environmental public health, or other fields with experience in quality assurance or a similar field
Training in Quality Management or related disciplines
Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
An eye for details
Self-motivated, proactive, mature, independent, responsible and resourceful
Tactful, approachable and patient as well as being religion sensitive
Ability to interact and foster teamwork
Good interpersonal, communication, coordination and writing skills
Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
Willing to work in after-life care service environment
Able to work on weekends and public holidays
You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and continuous operations over a 12-hour shift.
