What the role is:As an Assistant Manager/Manager in the HR Strategy and Development Department, you will be part of a dynamic team that plays a key role to lead the review and implementation of organisation-wide compensation and benefit policies, to attract and retain a committed workforce who are passionate about sustaining Singapore as one of the world\'s best living environments.What you will be working on:Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Review and implement organisation-wide salary and benefits framework and policies to ensure market relevance and competitiveness, to meet evolving needs.Work closely with other departments in HRODD to resolve complex compensation and benefits issues as well as implement solutions due to changes in policies/guidelines.Partner with our outsourced HR service provider to conduct post verification of claims monthly and ensure compliance with our claims policy/guidelines.Collaborate with our outsourced IT and payroll vendors to enhance HR systems and processes in response to policy changes or day-to-day payroll/claims related issues.Review work processes to improve process efficiency through digitisation and automation.Any other ad-hoc projects such as assisting in the administration of National Day Awards and processing of bonus payments.What we are looking for:Strong organisational, collaborative and interpersonal skills.Meticulousness and adaptability.Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines effectively.Have good written/verbal communication skills and be able to collaborate well across teams.Strong critical thinking and analytic skills, adept in quantitative analysis and data management, and proficiency in MS office applications especially Excel.Experience managing HR systems and/or familiarity with Workday will be an advantage.As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.Applicants will be updated on the status of their applications within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.About National Environment Agency:The National Environment Agency (NEA) is the leading public organisation responsible for ensuring a clean and sustainable environment for Singapore.
