What the role is:
The Strategy, International & Research Group (SIR) drives the strategic planning process and research to help MSF advance its mission and contribute to the whole-of-government strategic objectives. MSF is setting up a dedicated strategic organisational planning function to further strengthen our social compact, be mission-focused and outcome-oriented.
What you will be working on:
As Assistant Manager/Manager/Senior Manager (Strategy Branch), you will support the strategic planning process and organisational alignment for a capable, adaptive and trusted MSF. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to: a) Support MSF Family's strategic workforce planning process, which would include developing workforce strategies to address current and future organisational needs; b) Identify, forward plan and prioritise organisational needs to optimise manpower resources to drive capacity and productivity; and c) Monitor skills trend in the labour market to mitigate risks in skills obsoletion within MSF officers, and to ensure our officers are future-ready with transferrable skills beyond their current job roles to take on emerging work demands. You will have a unique vantage point to gain an understanding of the breadth of MSF's work. You will have the opportunity to regularly engage senior management and MSF Family to shape organisational priorities. You will be able to build organisational development skills through organisation alignment initiatives. Through the above, you will assist MSF's leadership to steer the direction of the Ministry, influence the allocation of resources, and the work of the various divisions.
