What the role is:Description of Group - Family Life Group: The Family Life Group (FLG), under the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) aims to strengthen and support families through different life stages, to realise the vision of making Singapore the best place for family life through our policies, programmes and publicity efforts. Description of Division - Inter-Generational Support: The Inter-Generational Support Division provides guardianship to protect the dignity and interests of vulnerable persons lacking mental capacity by enabling legacy planning using the Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) and supervising deputyship. It also encourages family support by facilitating the reconciliation of families and the adjudication of maintenance claims by elderly parents. Brief Description of the job: As Singapore is a rapidly ageing society, we are looking to form a dynamic team who are enthusiastic to transform the service of protecting vulnerable persons. You will be in the Service and Investigation team that will triage, manage LPA registrations, build the practice and network of professional deputies, supervise court-appointed deputies and facilitate the reconciliation of families.What you will be working on:

• Process LPA applications, update and maintain the LPA register Manage public enquiries, applications and appeals Engage, train and manage the accreditation of certificate issuers Engage and grow the practice and network of professional deputies and donees Investigate and manage risks in the supervision of court-appointed deputies Support the Commissioner for the Maintenance of Parents and the Tribunal for the Maintenance of Parents in dispute conciliation and adjudication of maintenance claims Provide assessment and reports to the Family Justice Court Oversee the Board of Visitors

What we are looking for:We are looking for a candidate who is energised by the mission to protect vulnerable persons and fostering of inter-generational support. He/She should be a team player with a can-do spirit, and possess: Good problem solving and systems thinking skills Able to multi-task and work under pressure Good in data management and working on IT systems. Experience in Smart tools, GenAI and LLM would be advantageous Good communicator verbally and in writing, able to engage well with internal and external stakeholders.
