DESIGNATION : Assistant Manager/Manager (Facilities Management) - Mechanical & Electrical
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and supervise outsourced Integrated Term Contractor and M&E facility Term Contractors, and to ensure they comply and meet all terms set out in their Term Contract
Plan and organize repair and preventive maintenance works for M&E systems
Conduct investigations for services breakdown and recommend needed recovery and preventive actions
Provide support and assist the Head of Department in Capital nature replacements
Plan and execute work programs with related to minor improvement works and Addition & Alteration Works
Responsible for drafting requirements & specifications for Invitation-To-Quote/tender for Maintenance works and evaluation of the proposal submitted
Propose annual M&E and Building Maintenance Budgets for approval by Head and monitor & control budget expenditures in related works
Obtain quotations and issue Works Orders to get Contractors rectified and carried out essential repairs works with adherence to standard procedures and policies
Monitors all feedbacks/ request by staffs and tenant through emails and ensure all these feedback/ requests are promptly responded and attended to by contractors within stipulated time frame.
Monitor and analyse utilities usage, propose ways of energy/water savings.
Implement facilities management initiatives that align with the mission, vision and values of the Gallery.
Performs facilities inspections and prepares reports.
Any other duties assigned by the Head of Department.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferably with at least 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in managing Commercial and/or museum facilities
Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
Meticulous and able to meet tight deadlines
Able to multi-task and manage work priorities in a pro-active and flexible manner
Able to work in a team, good interpersonal and communication skills, and great independence in working in a fast-paced environment
