What the role is:
The Assistant Manager/Manager for Student Care Operations in SAOB oversees the registration of Student Care Centres (SCCs) with MSF as our Student Care Fee Assistance (SCFA) administrators and ensure they comply with basic minimum requirements. Registered SCCs can administer the SCFA scheme, providing fee assistance to lower-income families.
What you will be working on:
Key Responsibilities: Assess and process the registration of SCCs as SCFA administrators. Service Management of registered SCCs and ensure these SCCs comply with the basic requirements. Improve SCC operations through advisory guidance, audits, and compliance enforcement. Liaise with SCC operators and parents, including addressing enquiries, complaints and incidents. Handle appeals from Members of Parliament (MPs) on Student Care matters such as appeal for student care placement. Engage the government and community partners to enhance the quality of SCCs Work closely with the SCFA team which processes SCFA applications and investigate potential fraud cases. Additional Responsibilities Engage in system development for SCC operations and SCFA administration. Function as Child Care Financial Assistance (CCFA) Processing Officer (PO).
What we are looking for:
Technical/ Functional Competencies Tertiary education qualifications in any discipline. Relevant experience in programme or service management, with an interest in operational work and proficiency in data analysis. Generic Competencies Strong relationship and communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders. Self-driven, meticulous, and able to work well in a team. Strong critical thinking and analysis skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
