Job Description

What the role is:
You will join a dynamic team within the Enabling Division (EN) to drive and coordinate policies to support persons with disabilities across a wide range of areas, such as training, employment, care services, and accessibility. Beyond formulating and reviewing policies, we work with stakeholders across the public, people and private sectors to co-create and co-implement the recommendations of the Enabling Master Plan which guides Singapore towards becoming a more caring and inclusive society.
What you will be working on:

• Develop medium to long term strategic plans to enhance support, accessibility and inclusivity for persons with disabilities as part of the recommendations under the Enabling Master Plan o Monitor and analyse trends and feedback, to conceptualise pilots or policies to support persons with disabilities in a wide range of areas o Work closely with other agencies and key stakeholders to oversee implementation o Support the Sector Strategy and Planning Branch in other projects to enhance accessibility for persons with disabilities and build an inclusive society, including on international relations.

What we are looking for:

• Relevant working experience in policy and/or policy-ops domain is an advantage. o Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. o Comfortable with looking at issues through a strategic and operational lens. o Highly motivated and able to effectively work in a team in a fast-paced and challenging environment. o People-centric and able to build consensus with multiple stakeholders. o Good written and verbal communication skills.
