Job Description

:We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to be part of our burgeoning Commerce team. This position reports to the Assistant Lead, Merchandising and will need to work cross functionally with internal stakeholders.Responsibilities

• Support the Assistant Lead of Merchandising and Lead of eCommerce with the implementation of business strategy to meet revenue KPIs
• Strategize and implement the product and services roadmap to fuel Mediacorp\'s Content Commerce initiatives such as Live Streaming and Home Shopping
• Source for products in assigned product category to sell successfully via Live Streaming and Home Shopping Channels
• Review and secure product pricing, special bundles and margins to optimize profits.
• Develop strong partner/ supplier relationships and capable of building new ones
• Supplier on-boarding and management, top and bottom line of the business
• Work closely with the content production team and coordinate with production team and merchants/ suppliers to craft the best product demos and explainers required for the shoppertainment content
• Make data-guided decisions to meet business objectives

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor\'s Degree
• At least 4 to 6 years of proven track record in retail or ecommerce in a merchandising or category management role
• Candidates with experience in managing multiple product categories are preferred
• Experience in health and beauty sector and/or private label is a plus
• Experience in negotiations, pricing and inventory management
• Data fluency and proficiency with Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
