Roles & Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Senior Engineering Manager to oversee daily specialty chemical product operations of organization.

• Supervise a team of engineer and technician to ensure operational excellence.

• Proactively evaluate and recommend improvements to increase department performance and efficiency.

• Liaise with different departments to improve performance and work efficiency.

• To lead and liaise with relevant local government agencies and contractors.

• Address operational issues and concerns in a timely manner.

• Educate operations team on best practices, company policies and service excellence standards.

• Assist in oversee operational cost, risk and audit activities.

• Assist in interviewing, recruiting, training, performance evaluation activities.

• Perform maintenance and repair works for equipment.

• Adopt 5S’s practice to maintain the facility clean, safe and organized.

• Any Ad-hoc tasks assigned.

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or any related engineering field with at least 8 Year(s) of proven facilities and manufacturing experience in Semiconductor or related industries.

• Possess In depth knowledge of local legislation (e.g. WSH/SCDF/NEA), ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001 and procedures.

• With some security management, chemical (licensed under NEA, SCDF & SPF) and facilities working experience.

• Well-versed in facilities and safety management best practices.

• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple and complex tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• A good team player and able to work independently.

• Excellent leadership skills with good initiatives, able to analyses and think flexibly.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Possess entrepreneur mindset with strong business acumen.

• An eye for attention to detail with hands-on characteristics, passionate for growth and meticulous with high level of integrity.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and PR/PO processes.
