As an Assistant Operations Manager for Motion business, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects related to operations of a Regional Distribution Center (RDC) including the full scope of operations (project management & control, financial (profit & loss), quality, continuous improvement, logistic, planning & fulfillment) or a part of that. Reporting to Operation Manager RDC, you will be ensuring strict adherence within the operations to the ABB policies and required standards of health, safety, and integrity. This position is based in Singapore.
Your responsibilities
Responsible for developing business action plans for RDC aligned with business area/division/product group strategy and targets
Maintaining compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations while monitoring and reporting progress and results
Developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout operations
Coordinating daily material issues and communication - alignment between production stock outs versus SAP stock outs. Analyzes inventory trends, reports findings, supports ABCD part analysis
Creating and maintaining a positive work environment for the company
Ensuring RDC organization takes an overall value chain perspective to meet customer expectations on quality, service levels and lead time
Developing and communicating periodic trend and performance reports on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed
Your background
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business / supply chain / engineering. More than 5 years of working experience in the related fields
Application system (i.e: SAP, OMS, WMS, Salesforce, Celonis, PowerBI, etc) will have an added advantage
Understanding of financial. Attention to detail, organised and proactive
Open to innovative ideas/experiences and keen to create new ideas, approaches or insights
Must be highly motivated to take challenges, pressures and assertive in bringing the entire team in achieving goals and targets
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
