What the role is:

The SPF plays a critical role in keeping Singapore safe and secure with our mission to prevent, deter and detect crime. As an assistant operations officer in the Commercial Affairs Department, you will be instrumental in providing staff support to facilitate the day-to-day operations of commercial crime investigators. You will be placed under the Management Executive Scheme
What you will be working on:

Support Operations Development work to enhance the investigation functionalities of CAD Investigator. o Support screening facilities for CAD IOs and support probity screenings to ensure that persons appointed to key positions by agencies are not investigated for criminal offences.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for a proactive and meticulous individual to be part of the Financial Crime Operations and Policy team. The ideal candidate should possess strong organisational and administrative skills. The candidate should work well under pressure and be able to handle multiple requests simultaneously. He/she should communicate clearly with officers at different levels to support the department's operational objectives. REQUIREMENTS o Proactive, meticulous and independent worker, who is self-driven and able to carry out work responsibilities with minimal supervision; o Good team player who works well with others; o Conscientious in maintaining records o Able to multi-task and work under pressure o Able to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately Short-listed candidates will be notified within two weeks after the closing date.
