Job Description

My client is one of the world\'s leading US MNC within the Beauty industry. They are looking to hire an Assistant Procurement Manager (Indirect) to join their team in Singapore. This role would have you collaborate and maintain strong relations with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure quality and cost optimization.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Work with Regional/Global stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, ensuring project pipeline information is up-to-date and establish rate cards for different brands
• Support procurement activities for store construction category within the region
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure sustainable savings by conducting strategic supplier relationship management
• Continuously track, review and improve category procurement strategies and ensure compliance with business policies
• Build effective relationships with vendors and ensure high-quality product, service and delivery standards
• Conduct vendor risk management and resolve issue that arise in a timely manner
• Support internal stakeholders in the areas of project management and process improvement and meet project deliverables and milestones

Key Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Procurement, Supply Chain, Civil Engineering, Business or related fields
• 3 years or more of experience in procurement with deep understanding of construction services market and prices of materials and implementing cost initiatives
• Experience in the FMCG industry is highly desirable
• Skilled in project management, stakeholder management, vendor management, strategic procurement (including value analysis) with experience in vendor contracts and contract negotiations
• Effective communicator with a proactive attitude and is able to make decisions based on sound judgement
• Proven leadership and management skills are highly desirable
