Assistant Production Superintendent

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist Department Leader with planning of daily production activities and issuance of routine instructions
- Assist Department Leader with planning and scheduling of preventive maintenance activities
- Ensure that production and quality targets are met by monitoring production and QC data
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with Work Instructions (WI)
- Assist Department Leader with monitoring inventory levels of raw materials, subsidiary materials and spares, and raise purchase requests when required
- Assist Department Leader with enforcement of Production shift staff discipline including monitoring production data and reviewing CCTV footage when necessary
- Assist with Document Control relating to production, including maintaining and updating WI and forms
- Assist Department Leader with troubleshooting of process, equipment problems
- Understand production process to assist with operation adjustments or improvement proposals due to demands from other stakeholders
- Ensure data entry by Production shift staff is timely and accurate
- Assist Department Leader with compilation of monthly production reports
- Assist Department Leader with data collection and report preparation for in-process studies and experiments, when required
- Ensure that safety procedures, regulations and other legal obligations are complied
Requirement: Diploma in Engineering, Applied Science or other related discipline Microsoft Office (especially Excel) skill required. Office 365 and Power Platform knowledge is an advantage English and Report writing competency
