About the Team

ByteDance Data Center Development team is responsible for building Data Center and Network in the Asia Pacific region. Our work involves, but not limiting to, data center innovation, implementing advanced technologies and renewable energy to achieve carbon-neutrality, rapid project delivery, capacity planning, process and risk control, cost management, etc. Our objective is to provide ByteDance with efficient Data Center infrastructure services to support our business growth. The Global Delivery Management team is mainly responsible for site selection, acquisition, and project delivery.



As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

As the Data Center Delivery - Assistant PM, you will be responsible for the following:



Responsibilities

Assist DCD Technical PM on end to end project management of data center delivery; Assist to track the electrical & telecom fit out works of the data hall; Assist to track and support technical review for data center infrastructure; Assist to track and coordinate with design team for the optimisation of data hall standards; Assist to coordinate with local operation team for troubleshooting;

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Undergraduate or Postgraduate currently pursuing a Degree/Master in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline; Basic knowledge of local electrical code & fire code.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred to have interest to work on large scale project delivery experience of at least 5000 racks; Preferred to have interest in working with local electrical and telecom fitout contractors; Preferred to have interest to work with local telecommunication authorities & carriers; Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and participate in cross-functional collaborations.
