Job Description

Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and closing construction or engineering projects. Coordinate between internal departments (engineering, QS, procurement) and external parties (clients, consultants, subcontractors). Help monitor project progress against schedule, budget, and quality targets. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, technical submissions, RFIs, and variation orders. Assist in compiling progress reports, cost tracking, and work programs. Ensure proper filing and control of drawings, permits, and approvals. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and contractors to resolve day-to-day issues. Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers. Help with issuing work orders and follow up on subcontractor progress and claims. Attend coordination and site meetings with consultants, clients, and authorities. Escalate major concerns to the Project Manager.

Job Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Architecture, or related discipline. 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience in construction or project coordination. Experience in assisting with project execution, coordination, or site work. Basic understanding of construction methods, technical drawings, and contract documents. Strong coordination skills to work with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and site personnel. Able to attend and support in project or site meetings. Willingness to work on-site, including weekends or extended hours when necessary. * Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks or sub-projects.
