Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • To assist the Project Manager to lead site construction team in ensuring smooth execution of work
  • Must be able to read detailed drawing, understand construction plan and knowledge of fabrication methods
  • Responsible for site progress, according to schedule set
  • Monitor project development schedule
  • Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues
  • Review appointment of subcontractors, suppliers & vendors recommended by Contract Department
  • Review & endorse subcontract documents, progress & variation works claims to customers
  • Good communication skills and well verse in site correspondence
  • Ensure all safe work procedures and environment control measures are implemented and followed by all relevant parties of the project
  • Ensure schedules are met and project can be completed in a timely manner
  • Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities when required or as instructed
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least an ITC or Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building, Electrical Engineering, Civil/Structural Mechanical or equivalent awarded by BCA Academy or local Polytechnic
  • At least 2- 3 years of relevant experience in this position is preferred
  • Independent, disciplined and able to work under pressure
  • Good communication and writing skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with bilingual speaking clients
  • Possessed a Class 3 licence will be an advantage
  • Computer Literate
