OVERVIEW
Our client is a securities brokerage and investment banking arm of one of the largest Japanese Securities Group.
They are looking for a Japanese speaking Assistant Relationship Manager based in Singapore. This role is under Wealth and Corporate Client Solutions division which provide wealth management solutions with Japanese HNW clients in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to a team of Relationship Managers (RMs) based in Singapore and Hong Kong, covering client service, operations, administration, and marketing activities.
• Assist RMs in managing and monitoring client portfolios, including updating portfolio positions and preparing investment proposals, primarily for Japanese-speaking clients and prospects.
• Receive and execute client orders across various products, including securities, bonds, derivatives, loans, and foreign exchange transactions.
• Prepare account opening documentation in accordance with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) requirements, including coordination of Japanese-language onboarding materials.
• Liaise with the Japan head office and other regional offices to resolve administrative matters.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate client portfolio transfers across multiple asset classes.
• Ensure proper trading and settlement setup for client accounts prior to execution.
• Provide support and guidance on securities settlement-related issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on projects such as system implementations and enhancements.
• Organize and manage CPD courses, including tracking and maintaining records of CPD hours for representatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 of experience in relevant experience in client servicing, trading support, operations or sales support within financial institutions
• Bachelor degree or diploma
• Professional working proficiency in Japanese in order to liaise with Japanese speaking stakeholders
• CACS Paper 1&2 certification is a plus
