JOB PURPOSE: To assist the Restaurant Manager in the day to day operations of the All Day Dining restaurant, Bar & Lounge and Room Service operations, in terms of maximizing revenues and minimizing c JOB PURPOSE: To assist the Restaurant Manager in the day to day operations of the All Day Dining restaurant, Bar & Lounge and Room Service operations, in terms of maximizing revenues and minimizing costs with particular attention to guest satisfaction, staff welfare, and profit margins. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. To assist the Restaurant Manager in responsibility for the restaurant, lobby lounge and room service to a smooth-running and profitable operation within the frame work of the hotel. 2. To assist in achieving departmental budget goals by maintaining profits through increased sales revenue and efficient cost expenditure and to work with the Restaurant Manager on the monthly department Profit and Loss Statement. 3. To assist preparation of the yearly departmental budget by using history and forecasting to develop an aggressive budget that reflects achievable targets. 4. To ensure the awareness and enforcement of all SOPs and property P&P's and to enforce operational standards that are periodically reviewed and updated. 5. To responsible for maintaining outlet safety and sanitation standards at all times to be responsible for asset management for all outlet properties and facilities and to conduct to preventative maintenance inspection on a monthly basis. 6. To lead by example through a 'hands-on' approach to motivate the staff to excel.
