Assistant Retail Manager
Responsibilities
- Supports the Store Manager to manage the high standard of the store and to exceed the sales and profitability of the store.
- Responsible for leading the team of store personnel by inspiring and motivating them to exceed sales and customer service expectations.
- Manage the inventory so as to ensure that the best selling merchandise are always available for customers and to take appropriate steps to control the good health and freshness of live plants.
- Organize the efficient unloading of incoming goods and loading of goods for customer home delivery or transfer to other branches.
Requirement
- Diploma with at least 3 year\xe2\x80\x99s relevant experience working with a team of colleagues in a customer facing position.
- The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft word and Excel
- The candidate must be conscious of health & safety of the team.
- Pleasant personality and possess service oriented attitude
- Preferably able to commence work immediately
- Working hour: 5 day work week with shift either from 8am \xe2\x80\x93 6pm or 8.30am to 6.30pm, weekend is expected to be working
- Working location: could be assigned to any of outlet at Thomson Road, Evans Road, Queensway or at HQ at Clementi Road
- Special requirements: have relevant working experience in Retail sector or plants nursery
