Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toMarketing & Sales ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesJoin us as an Assistant Sales Manager for the Process Automation Process Industries Division where you will be responsible for the sales of Data Center Automation product, services and solutions in Singapore and Malaysia markets and contributing to the overall Data Center business in Local Division Singapore/Indonesia. Building long term customer relationships and managing resolution to customer needs and issues. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager for Data Center Automation and Growth Industries. The position is based in Singapore. You will be responsible for: \xe2\x80\xa2 Achieving sales targets (volume, prices) in the data centre industry, ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices. \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing sales enquiries in timely manner, including preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promoting customer understanding of our product/services offer and aligning to provide a solution. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process and creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of the transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques. \xe2\x80\xa2 Preparing and delivering technical presentation and demonstrations to customers as part of sales pursuit or for sales related events \xe2\x80\xa2 Communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments and general terms and conditions) \xe2\x80\xa2 Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaborationQualifications for the role

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, with knowledge of Controls/Automation or Business Administration
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the data centre industry
  • Strong sales track record from start to complete project and installations
  • Technical Knowledge in Data Center infrastructure market in South East Asia
  • Proven customer and market orientation with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Independent, reliable, and proactive personality
