Assistant Teacher
Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFunctional Supports the Early Childhood, Mother Teacher in the classroom Assists the Early Childhood, Mother Teacher in the preparations of teaching materials and resources Supervises the students during the lessons and provides additional support, physical or otherwise Chaperons the students during educational visits outside the classroom Maintains the standard of cleanliness and safety in the classrooms Ensure students board busses from the classroom on time Support main teacher in communication and feedback to parents on student performance Occasionally replace a teacher in their absence. Help teachers prepare / follow lesson plans and set up necessary material for classes. Track student attendance and class schedules. Work with smaller groups of students for remedial teaching or reinforcing the learning process Escort and supervise students in field trips and school activities Make sure classrooms are safe and tidy before classes start Assist teachers with various tasks, like grading assignments and informing parents of their children's progress Help students adjust, learn and socialize and report to teachers about possible behavioural issuesJOB REQUIREMENTSMinimum Qualifications Graduation or Montessori training courses or equivalentExperience 1-2 years of experienceJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $1,600.00 - $1,800.00 per monthBenefits:
