We are looking for a Assistant Team Leader, Warehouse Operations for Cummins Global Logistics team in our SE Asia Office in Singapore. This role will be reporting to the Operation Manager in Pandan Avenue, Singapore. This will be Onsite role.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Under minimal supervision, coordinates operations through interaction with operations management. Coordinates activities for different areas like Inbound, Outbound, Kitting, etc. based on direction from Operations management.
• Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
• Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.
• Report any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard.
• Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Promote interdependence by looking out for one another.
• Correct hazards within your control and capabilities.
• Recognize how your work may impact the environment and work to minimize the negative impact.
• Lead HSE Training and actively engage workforce.
• Quality :
• Follows all applicable standard work, work instruction/process documentation and established quality procedures.
• Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.
• Performs quality checks for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Identifies and controls non-conforming material.
• Delivery:
• Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
• Operates manual and automated equipment to pick, pack and ship product per the customer expectations.
• Demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills.
• Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
• Teamwork:
• Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.
• Ensures training completion in line with business requirements.
• Seeks ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
• Ensures clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and supports planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
• Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals.
• Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment in need of repair.

• Warehouse Operations - Utilizes warehousing tools, systems, and methodologies to meet defined metrics for inbound and outbound operations of a warehouse.
• Trade Knowledge Application - Applies knowledge of relevant trade regulations to Cummins processes and systems to minimize trade risks and costs.
• Mode Selection - Evaluates and selects appropriate transportation mode and equipment type by lane through shipment volume analysis against business requirements to provide optimal shipping method (balance cost, quality and time).

Preferred Qualification:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• A two year University degree from an accredited program in Business, Engineering or a relevant field of study preferred. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
• Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in a related field such as logistics, warehousing and third party logistics provider management.
• HSE: Performs Stop Work Order in the event of any near hits.
• HSE: Submits Enablon report in the event of any near hits.
• OE: Participates in scheduled audits (SLPA/ GEMBA/ HSE) and follow up on closure of findings.
• OPS: Schedule and perform refresher training for team.
• OPS: Plan and submit OT requests when needed with sufficient justifications.
• OPS: Ensure daily attendance file is updated.
• OPS Provides support for emergency orders after regular office working hours.
• OPS: Ensure reports are updated and submitted on time OPS: Initiate and lead JDI projects and participate in A3 projects.
• OPS: Encourages WOW submissions and ensures regular FIFI submissions from team members under their supervision
• OPS: Support Team Leader in any communication with internal and external stakeholders
• All: Cover Team Leader\xe2\x80\x99s duties when Team Leader is absent.
