About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive and lead Card Services Financial Payment function over-seeing daily running operations to meet external and internal SLAs.
• Initiate and recommend process improvement, together with business users and technology team, to enhance customer journey, improve productivity effectiveness and efficiency. Prior experience in automation tools such as RPA will be advantageous.
• Performing gap/problem analysis on processes and provide recommendation for change and mitigation of risks.
• Ensure the team\'s daily processing are within SLA standards and escalate timely for potential risk events
• Work with the Department Head in building up the team\'s risk management practices.
• Update staff promptly of any changes to internal workflow/operational procedures to avoid work errors.
• Develop and execute a cross-train plan as part of development plan for the team members.
• work with the Department Head to drive initiatives to drive the engagement level of the department.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree with 5 to 8 years of working experience in Card operations / Retail Banking
• Good communication skills
• In-depth understanding of risk and controls in operations
• Able to multi-task and cope with change and diversity in a fast-paced environment
• Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, able to think objectively and \'think outside the box\' when analyzing issues
• Meticulous with an eye for details and quality mindset
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communications skills, driving outcomes through influence and negotiations
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint
• Team player, self-motivated and resourceful
