Job PurposeThis role manages a team to contribute to Group Insurance business growth through Agency distribution channel.The Job\xc2\xb7 Responsible for Agency new business and retention financial targets\xc2\xb7 Manages and mentor team on channel management\xc2\xb7 Participate in business planning and initiatives\xc2\xb7 Develop distribution and engagement strategy specific to agency channel\xc2\xb7 Ensure the team meet the services level commitments to channel partners and clients. KPIs for service level are incorporate in performance review.\xc2\xb7 Establish strong working relationship with cluster heads and intermediaries\xc2\xb7 Review and approval of new business/renewal pricing and terms according to authority granted.\xc2\xb7 Collaboration with internal stakeholders to deliver business goals and targets\xc2\xb7 Lead cross department projects\xc2\xb7 As part of the leadership team, work with key stakeholders to proactively shape the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s culture and conduct environment that is aligned to the organization\xe2\x80\x99s Core Values\xc2\xb7 Champion culture and conduct behavioral expectations within the Department/Division\xc2\xb7 Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.\xc2\xb7 Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.\xc2\xb7 Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.\xc2\xadQualificationsOur Requirements\xc2\xb7 Tertiary degree or diploma or equivalent industry qualifications;\xc2\xb7 Minimum 5-10 years working experience in sales/channel management in the Employee Benefits /Group Insurance; including min. 2 years of people management skill\xc2\xb7 CMFAS (M9, M5 & Health Insurance qualification); LOMA certification\xc2\xb7 Basic risk management framework and local regulatory requirements\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of Group Insurance, Employee Benefits program, Life and Health insurance landscape.\xc2\xb7 Dynamic and driven to achieve business targets; and\xc2\xb7 Good interpersonal and communication skills.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrates alignment with the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s core values through expected behaviours\xc2\xb7 High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.\xc2\xb7 Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.About Great EasternEstablished in 1908, Great Eastern places customers at the heart of everything we do.
