We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Cards and Loans Product Management.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Assist the VP to drive each projects driving it from initiation to evaluation, according to ASP Product Development Guide
  • Work closely with CCTR, Card Operations, BRCM, LGA, Compliance, Acquisition Channels and Fraud/ AML teams to launch products/ initiatives smoothly
  • Develop strategy that articulates product value proposition and offering to the relevant market segment
  • Produce and execute new marketing ideas to acquire and engage customers, so as to achieve financial targets
  • Actively monitor competition and market place, and manage lifecycle of product to ensure long term product position strategy
  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders (including Marketing, Sales and Risk control parties) to align business objectives
  • Perform supporting duties as required
  • Work closely with Card Acquisition, Usage, Portfolio Management, and Business Analytics teams to drive business and AOP targets. Track and review individual portfolio performance on an ongoing basis
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and operations/systems, work out issues before rollout of each product initiative, and prepare Implementation Guides consisting of workflows and FAQs when launching new products/ initiatives. Conduct briefing to Call Centre on new products and services
  • Assist the VP to enhance existing products or launch new products that are attractive, competitive and have a strong value proposition offered to the target segment
  • Ensure excellent customer experience for all product and service delivery
  • Be an active team player by sharing knowledge and contributing ideas
  • Interact with other RBWM and Cards areas, and increase knowledge of what other teams do. Participate in bank-wide and division-wide activities
  • Maintain and ensure due observance of HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/ external auditors and external regulators
  • Foster a compliance culture and implement Group Compliance Policy by managing compliance risk in liaison with the Head of Group Compliance, Regional Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources are in place and training is provided, and optimising relations with regulators
  • Maintain awareness of operational risk including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting in accordance with section 4 of the Group Operations FIM
Requirements
  • Degree holder with minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in consumer credit cards within banking
  • In depth understanding of customer segmentation, marketing, acquisition and regulatory environment surrounding consumer credit cards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to interact and work with a wide spectrum of internal and external stakeholders
  • Good project management skills
