Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting the HRBPs on the implementation of global, regional and local Human Resource (HR) initiatives as well as processes for the Businesses
Deliver responsive and effective HR solutions and advice to the Businesses on staff related matters, which includes but not limited to recruitment, termination of employment, organizational change, performance management and rewards, talent management & succession planning
Work in partnership with HRBPs to:
Maintain good stakeholder management with the Businesses
Support the implementation of global and regional HR policies and processes
Support the recruitment and on-boarding for senior/critical roles
Collaborate with all Centres of Excellence (COEs) to deliver HR initiatives and processes
Liaise with external agencies like Executive Search Firms, legal and/or tax/audit consultants for varied recruitment or staff matters
Support the delivery of key HR processes including but not limited to compensation review, performance management, succession planning, talent management, job evaluations and engagement survey
Support the implementation of organizational change initiatives including but not limited to restructures, HR system upgrades and MUFG cultural initiatives.
Provide advice on employee related matters, in the areas of performance, conduct, grievance and disciplinary
Review on salary proposals on mid/junior level hiring
Manage internship hiring or related graduate trainee program
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and support implementation
Provide consultation and guidance on relevant HR policies to employees and stakeholders
Partner with COEs in supporting international assignments of identified internal assignees/talents
Prepare, maintain, analyse and evaluate reports including but not limited to headcount, talent movements, attrition rates, when required
Support internal and external audits within the department by preparing documentation as required
Track contract renewals, confirmation and conduct/arrange exit interviews
Able to lead or participate actively in HR projects on process efficiency and work effectiveness
Adhere to all company policies as well as guidelines
Work collaboratively with regional counterparts
Job Requirements:
Degree holder with at least 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 of experience as HR Generalist and/or experience as a junior HR Business Partner
Knowledge of HR processes and local employment laws
Proficient in Microsoft Office skills i.e. Excel (i.e. Pivot Table, VLookup), PowerPoint etc.
Good understanding of all HR disciplines including but not limited to Talent Acquisition, Employment Relations, HR Generalist, Performance Management, Rewards, Talent Management, Mobility and Talent Development & Learning
Good knowledge in Workday (HR system) will be advantageous
Good interpersonal skills to build and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Good communication skills with ability to communicate with employees across all levels
Team-player and demonstrate accountability and ownership
Embrace changes and challenges and uphold confidentiality as HR Professional
Fast-paced, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
