Core Functions/Responsibilities:

Taking part in the process of identifying and assessing investment opportunities in companies spanning across several sub-sectors within TMT and/or Consumer space
Evaluating, undertaking due diligence, closing investments as well as monitoring the performance of portfolio companies and eventually leading them into public listing or divestment
Leading due diligence, financial modelling, drafting of investment papers, co-ordination of internal approval processes and finalisation of legal documentation in transaction processes
Establishing and cultivating relationships with companies, corporate partners and other relevant institutions
Coordinating with internal stakeholders in carrying out investment activities
Coaching and mentoring junior members of the team.

Qualifications/Capabilities:

Bachelor\'s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Engineering
Preferably 4-6 years working experience with a top-tier investment bank, corporate finance, M&A and/or accounting firm, with exposure to the TMT and/or Consumer space
High level of interpersonal, writing, technical and modelling skills
Able to work well within diverse teams and deal with multiple stakeholders
Self-starter with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and to work independently
Familiar with use of appropriate electronic data sources (e.g. Bloomberg, Factiva, Cap IQ etc).
