Job Description

Assist the HOD, Group Internal Audit (GIA) to lead, develop, implement and support the IT Audit required for SingPost Group. As part of the GIA function, the job requires talents with advanced IT knowledge to execute the risk-based IT audit plan, evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of IT and system controls regarding the reliability and integrity of information, effectiveness and efficiency of operations, safeguarding assets and compliance with policies, procedures, laws & regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute a risk-based IT Audit Plan within SingPost Group.
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of IT system controls regarding the reliability and integrity of the information.
  • Attends committee meetings and present on key IT audit issues and the result of the follow up actions on outstanding IT audit findings.
  • Perform planning and execution of audit engagements according to the approved annual audit plan within the given budget and timelines, and in line with GIA methodology standards.
  • Prepares detailed plans for performing individual audits including the identification of key risk and controls, determination of audit objectives, and development of an appropriate audit program.
  • Prepares under minimal supervision audit work paper and reports documenting the result of reviews of assigned activities, recommended management action and management's planned corrective actions.
  • Conduct closing meeting and present the audit observation to the auditee management.
  • Participates in reviews of internal controls and security of systems under development as well as major IT projects and initiatives.
  • Consolidate common IT audit findings for sharing with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with Group's policies.
  • Perform or assist in the performance of ad-hoc or special projects that include risk assessments, quality assessment reviews, fraud investigations, whistle-blowing investigations, audit department policies updates, due diligence acquisition reviews, etc.
  • Perform regular validation and tracking of past year audit issue remediation.
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative task such as preparation of presentation documents for Quarterly Audit Committee meeting, secondary roles e.g. administrative role for audit management system and provide technical support to non-IT internal auditors.
  • Oversee work conducted by subordinate.
  • Offer functional training and advice to internal/ external stakeholders and mentors less-experienced and new team members.
Skills & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Systems or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • At least 7 years of IT Audit experience in Big 4 or leading organisations.
  • Strong technical competencies and capabilities in audits of infrastructure, network and applications of different platforms.
  • Prior experience in review of network security including network infrastructure and network penetration test and Cybersecurity would be viewed favourably.
  • Able to work independently as well as a good team player.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis software such as ACL would be a plus.
  • Relevant professional qualification(s) such as CISA, CIA, CA are preferred.
  • Able to travel globally up to 30% of the calendar year.
