We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Product Development.
In this role you will

• Drive End-to-End Product Development - Drive the design, pricing, and launch of life insurance products, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment
• Oversee Product Documentation & Delivery - Manage preparation and approval of product materials, including contracts, policy illustrations, product summaries and marketing collaterals
• Monitor Product Performance - Track post-launch KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and recommend enhancements or repricing where needed
• Manage Regulatory & Governance Requirements - Ensure products comply with internal, regulatory, and audit standards, maintaining proper documentation and governance processes
• Coordinate Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborate with internal teams, reinsurers, and regulators to resolve issues and ensure smooth product implementation
• Conduct Market & Competitor Analysis - Perform competitive benchmarking and analyse customer and distribution insights to refine propositions
• Support Reporting & Committee Submissions - Prepare and deliver required product reports, updates, and submissions to internal and external governance bodies
• Drive Continuous Product Improvement - Lead product change initiatives, manage ad-hoc projects, and provide actionable recommendations for portfolio enhancement

To be successful you will need

• Strong experience in individual life and health insurance product development or management. Strong background in protection and savings products with exposure to critical illness riders, market trends, and customer needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas to diverse audiences
• Think creatively, challenge assumptions, and develop innovative solutions
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with people from different business functions
• Graduate in Business Management, Actuarial or related fields of study
