Job Description

Our client seeks an experienced professional to join their Investment Review team, providing independent evaluations of proposals to invest in private and publicly listed companies. The team focuses predominantly on equity investments, with occasional involvement in debt and fund investments.




Key Responsibilities:


Lead investment reviews, including project management, team supervision, and interaction with origination and execution teams Identify key assumptions, valuation, and risk drivers, and stress-test financial models to assess impact on value and returns Formulate independent views on investment theses and challenge assumptions as necessary Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and provide input on due diligence planning Develop transaction-specific monitoring guidelines for investee companies post-investment
Requirements:

4-8 years of experience in PE/M&A transaction execution, equity research, valuation, investment risk management, or transaction approval and evaluation

Strong financial modeling skills and understanding of valuation methodologies, including complex DCF and LBO models

Proven ability to build complex financial models from scratch

Experience working in a global setup, with exposure to diverse industries and geographies

Ability to quickly grasp business dynamics, risk, and value drivers across industries and geographies Commercial acumen and ability to assess investment proposals holistically Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to structure complex issues in a clear and concise manner Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
