: Your background

• You are a very strong Java / Scala developer with extensive experience building middle-tier services
• You are a self-starter and eager learner.
• You are a hands-on developer with work experiences in any of the following languages such as Python, Java, Scala or JavaScript.
• You have a good understanding of common algorithms and data structures.
• You have strong problem-solving and analytics skills.
• You have strong knowledge of software best practices (Object-Oriented design, patterns, algorithms, data structures).
• You have a good understanding of SDLC and application of Agile Methodologies including but not limited to automated testing (such as Test-Driven Development), Code Review, Continuous Integration and Version Control Systems.
• You have a solid understanding of functional programming.
• Ideally, you have an education in computer science (or relevant subjects).

The Reference Data/Middle Office Platform team provides solutions for client onboarding and middle office functions within the Global Markets domain. We have a team of strong developers who are able to leverage off each other’s expertise and technical skills. We would be able to offer a highly technical track to developers who would like to pursue career in the technical domain within Investment Banking. What you will do

• You would spend 80% of time in hands-on programming.
• You would be responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Markets environment.
• You would be involve in the designing, coding, testing, debugging and documentation programs as well as supporting activities for the corporate systems architecture.
• You would work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications.
• You would be managing a high level of risk with in-depth capital markets product knowledge.
• You would provide production support for applications.
