About the Department


Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations. We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure. Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities


  • Work on production incident with respective stakeholders for trouble shooting, RCA analysis and issue resolution.
  • Attend to user query and clarification timely.
  • Provide necessary information needed to L3 support for their investigation and permanent fix prioritization.
  • Review and track all production incident and problem tickets till closure in meeting the TRO
  • Work with respective stakeholders to put in place necessary preventive measure for any recurring issues
  • Build and maintain repository for KB articles for recurring issue and production support documents
  • Support system operation activities eg. infra/OS patch and maintenance, key/certificate renewal, industry wide exercise, DR/BCP etc.
  • Review and ensure proper knowledge transfer (KT)/documentation from project/development team for smooth on-boarding and transition to L2 production support.

Job Requirements


  • Degree in computer science/engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in IT industry with relevant experience in Technology solutions or support service delivery in the banking industry
  • Experience in SilverLake banking system, preference is Core Retail Banking, Loans, ATM, Payment products
  • Experience in AS400/iSeries database and operation system for 3-5 years
  • Experience in system architecture and design and SDLC
  • Good analytic and problem-solving skills. Must be attentive to details.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong & assertive communicator in speaking & writing


Good to have:
  • Good understanding and experience of ITIL methodology
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)/Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
  • Broad knowledge of hardware, software and programming


Essential Technical Skill:
  • Working experience on OS/400 and RPG and COBOL programming; prior knowledge with Silverlake core retail banking application and banking knowledge will be added advantage.
  • Experience in mainframe and/or open system platforms and Card product knowledge are plus points.
  • Experience with Connect Direct, Control-M, Aldon, Splunk, Geneos tooling are added advantage
