About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

• Respond to all hardware and software-based problems and interface with vendor support to ensure quick resolutions.
• Carry out all Infrastructure storage related configuration activities.
• Manage and mitigate any Network Area Storage (NAS) infrastructure related issues and work on continuous improvement with Engineering team.
• Configure, maintain and manage continuous data protection for critical systems and support during recovery.
• Troubleshoot storage performance, connectivity issues, providing root cause analysis and provide support to other teams during issues.
• Perform on-going tuning, capacity efficiency, cleansing and resources.
• Perform and automate ongoing health checks, capacity utilization trend analysis, and conduct risk assessment exercises for backup solutions.
• Continuously ensure Disaster Recovery Readiness, replication functionality and conduct disaster recovery tests to validate the configuration and readiness.
• Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
• Follow day-to-day operations related to Service Recovery (SR) - Storage Operations in the Group Infrastructure Platform Support (GIPS) to ensure continuity of work

Job Requirements

• More than 3 years\' experience Banking IT Infrastructure Operations.
• More than 7 years\' experience in storage domain.
• Experience in Unix/Linux/Windows server administration is a plus.
• Good working knowledge on the following technologies - SAN (HPE 3Par, IBM, Dell EMC, Hitachi SAN), NAS (ISILON, Unity, NetApp), Object (HPE, iTernity), HPE/ Cohesity, Backup (Veeam, Veritas Netbackup), Brocade Switches.
• Good knowledge of storage & backup subsystems like NBU, EM.
• Architect, Install and configure storage, backup, and DR solutions.
• Experience in Performance Analysis and Tuning of storage subsystems is mandatory.
• Experience in Storage data migration techniques.
• Expert Knowledge of backup technologies.
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot file services such as NFS & CIFS.
• Deploy and manage backup solutions.
• Good understanding of large data center facilities operation.
• Highly organized/ motivated and able to meet deadlines.
