About the Department
The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

Personal Financial Services
We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities

Supporting the integration efforts of UOB and CITI bank\'s consumer wealth management business across 4 key ASEAN markets ( Thailand/Malaysia/Indonesia/Vietnam), the candidate will be a core team member of the wealth integration team reporting into the Wealth Integration Business Lead. Given the pace and importance of this strategic agenda, we need talent with project management and preferably past merger/integration experience to join our dynamic team collaborating with group and country stakeholders.
Key deliverables

  • Successful Legal Day 1 ( LD1) and Operational Day 1 ( OD1) implementation across the 4 markets
  • Scope of product coverage span across Funds/FX/Bonds/Structured Products/Commodities in relevant markets
  • Understand the business objectives unique to each market and support the development of products/process/system/advisory required for a successful LD1 and OD1
  • Work with Project Management Office (PMO)and Consultants to develop LD1 and OD1 target operating model ( TOM)
  • Work with PMO and country teams to derive TOM implementation plan which entails creating business technical requirements, test plans, process documentations, advisory models, client engagement plans and more
  • Align to the established operating rhythm connecting to both regional and country Project Steering Committee ( PSC) agenda. Prepare the necessary presentation materials in partnership with country and PMO teams
  • Set up weekly cadence within wealth integration work stream with clear agenda , timeline and deliverables in partnership with PMO and countries supporting LD1 and OD1 TOM and timeline
  • Support Wealth Integration Lead on all integration related matters and create a central repository of data, information, presentations for the integration team\'s effective coordination
  • Partner with GTO stakeholders on system and process requirement development in consultation with countries
Job Requirements
  • Recognized university degree with minimum years\' of relevant project management experience with established financial institutions /consulting companies
  • Relevant experience in wealth management and insurance business
  • Strong project management skill sets and track record. Willingness to learn and develop by immersing through real work and deliverables.
  • Strong analytical skills, meticulous, proactive and able to think independently and creatively.
  • Has excellent communication and writing skills; with ability to present to senior management and stakeholders
