What the role is:Assistant/Deputy Manager in Corporate Procurement DepartmentWhat you will be working on:
Support the smooth running of daily office operations in the processing and approval of procurement requests that come through the Corporate Procurement Office;
Maintain the currency and ensures the relevancy of all procurement-related guidelines, document templates and training resources for internal stakeholders and serves in the front-line addressing any procurement-related query;
General administrative responsibilities including but not limited to staff wellness, workplace safety and record-keeping responsibilities;
Participate and be involved in tender evaluation committees and offer advisement to schools and departments in their calling of ITQs
Support the implementation of new systems and/or new policies through UATs;
Can be expected to lead projects in the application of analytics, RPA, Behavioural Insights, data visualisation and design thinking to continuous innovate the service delivery related to government procurement.
What we are looking for:
At least five years of working experience
Meticulous with a keen eye for details; comfortable with working with numbers
Competent in area of procurement or purchasing
Familiar with GeBIZ (Government\'s one-stop e-procurement portal)
Motivated and positive attitude, enjoys meeting and networking with people
Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Good written, interpersonal and communication skills
Strong in administration and comfortable with database management
