Since October 2011, Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC) was incorporated as a charity with an IPC status to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large. THKMC provides assistance to the various groups in our community through more than 60 programmes and services for the elderly and the sick, families, persons with disabilities, and children. We help anyone in need with full respect to their race, colour, creed, language, culture and religion. DESIGNATION : Assistant/Manager (HR Operations)

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for providing end-to-end HR services to employees, support HR systems and programs, and improve work processes to achieve high standard of service delivery. The role requires excellent organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. If you are passionate about HR policies and procedures with a passion to serve, this position is for you. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acts as an advisory to other HR colleagues (HR Business Partners, Compensation & Benefits and OD & Learning Teams) and staff on HR policies, processes and procedures.
  • Partner and collaborate with our internal/ external stakeholders and leaders to ensure end-to-end HR processes and operations are conducted smoothly.
  • Lead and manage annual benefits activities, including but not limited to leave management, medical benefits review.
  • Maintains HR operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and to ensure consistent and effective HR practices across the organization.
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resources policies, SOP and workflows.
  • Maintains employee records (soft and hard copies) and ensuring smooth on-boarding and off-boarding support for all new hires and exits.
  • Responsible for the overall data integrity and quality control.
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities and recommending changes to enhance service delivery.
  • Manage internal/ external audit inquiries and implement the action plans identified.
  • Provides regular reporting on service delivery metrics identifying trends and areas of improvement.
  • Manage HR projects, reporting and other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
  • Bachelor in Human Resource Management or any relevant field.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in the HR role. Candidates with more years of experience will be considered for a more senior position.
  • Good knowledge of Employment Act and Labour Laws.
  • Able to work under pressure and perform multiple tasks accurately and meticulously.
  • Able to handle sensitive matters with tact and discretion, while building trust and upholding confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational & planning skills, as well as highly responsible and reliable on tasks delegated.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
