Associate Accountant (research Finance)

Job Description
Provide support to Cluster Finance team in handling daily finance operations for the Research Institutes within the cluster
Duties & Responsibilities
- Handling of day to day financial operations of the Research Institutes within the cluster (includes processing of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expense and Travel Claims, Fixed Asset, General Ledger and tax filing)
- Preparation of accurate and timely financial information and reports (including grant claims)
- Provide advice to Institutes on financial matters
- Identify areas of improvement within processes
- Assist with audit review and ensure that adequate supporting documentation is available for review
- Ensure year-end closing deadlines are met
- Assist in other finance function as and when required by team
- Accounting Degree/ACCA
- Preferable with 1 to 2 years of working experience
- A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess maturity and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous and organized
- Familiarity with S/4 HANA will be advantageous
