Associate Category Manager (Fresh), pandamart (Singapore)

The Associate Category Manager (Fresh) will be responsible for supporting and managing selected categories within foodpanda\'s New Verticals team. He/She will work closely with the Category Managers to set new processes and systems for the new business, devise short- and long-term category strategies with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

This role will be based in Singapore and will report to our Senior Category Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate maintenance of system, catalogue, orders and promotions
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure accurate submission of new product listing, promotion proposals, trade plans and trading agreements and cost negotiation.
• Maintain current supplier base to secure supplier advertising spend, and ensure a reliable and operationally effective flow of goods
• Proactively recommend and support in the development and implementation of new strategies to boost performance of categories
• Produce and implement monthly category performance and market insights to identify category growth gap and opportunities with wider category team
• Develop product marketing tools and tactics in collaboration with suppliers, brands and local marketing team
• Partner with the supply chain team to manage inventory levels and wastage
• Work cross functionally with Product, Supply Chain, Sales Operations and Marketing on day-to-day business needs

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in retail, business, or related
• 2-4 years of working experience in retail industry
• Experience with FMCG/grocery retailers is a plus
• Ability to manage complexity and be comfortable with ambiguity
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and hands on attitude are a must
• Possesses growth mindset
• Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
