Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled person, with strong communication skill to support a critical workstream within CDD team focusing on implementing of Projects or Initiatives to comply with Group/Country Policy and Procedure and Strategies Execute and implement initiatives and project to ensure the Bank operates in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations, Group/Country policies and standards, especially on AML CDD and FATCA/CRS. This role will require production of high-quality and timely output aligned to relevant SCB Polices/Standards, and delivered within prescribe timeline. Advice on best project management practices to support the Business to optimise outcomes will also be required. Regular outputs will be presented to senior stakeholders

Roles and Responsibilities

Provide CDD advisory in client level to business in relations to AML/CTF matters. Support relevant stakeholders to make decisions based on current and possible future policies, practices, and trends. Assist Line Manager to keep track of and provide advice to relevant stakeholders on the interpretation and application of policies related to CDD Review relevant policies/processes in relations to CDD compliance, aligning to relevant regulatory and group requirements. Support the implementation of policies and standards to ensure compliance with such policies and standards Review relevant policies/processes in relations to CDD compliance, aligning to relevant regulatory and group requirements. Creating timelines, milestones, and deliverables to contribute to effective project planning on the changes to be rolled out Following up on the progress of action items and other tasks and ensuring that tasks are delivered to ensure within timelines. Scheduling meetings, conference calls, and progress of changes or roll out related events with team members and relevant stakeholders Seeking opportunities for process improvements and making recommendations Collaborating with cross-functional teams that include a diverse range of personalities and skills To work as a team member who can gel and work in collaboration with risk and control partners. isk Management

Apply Group and Country CDD policies and processes (AML surveillance, client screening, risk assessment) to manage risks. Assess risks arising from products / segments / geographies / customers / transactions. Timely escalation of issues and ensure that necessary actions are taken quickly to remediate and/or activities are ceased. Undertake enhanced due diligence on new and existing medium/higher risk Review and/ or escalate new or emerging areas of risks for all clients including P risk rated clients and Group Sensitive Clients relevant clients such as adverse media/sanctions review Timely review of customer's profile and related risk Make recommendations to relevant stakeholders on possible risk management responses to identified risks and/ or findings of concern from investigations- at client and portfolio level Manage escalations on issues requiring additional assessment and controls.

Our ideal candidate

2+ years working experience in performing CDD reviews in a Bank environment Familiar with MAS regulations and requirements towards AML standards for Banks in Singapore. Has good awareness of risk concerns and is able to identify and address such risk concerns independently. Meticulous and has an eye for details Good Stakeholder management Proficient in handling CDD Reviews for Retail clients. Having CDD knowledge on Retail is an advantage. Conversant and have good understanding in handling of client reviews relating to Periodic, Trigger and New Client Onboarding Able to review and assess on High Risk clients who is involved with Risk Events like PEP, Adverse Media, Sanctions, etc Experience in writing and reviewing Source of Wealth for High Net Worth clients Clear understanding on the constituents of SOW requirements and how such information is to be obtained and documented as part of client wealth journey Conversant on the type of documents required as part of a CDD Review or for purposes of Corroboration, etc Analytical mind and ability to articulate the risk concerns and mitigants to complete the review. Mandarin proficiency required for reviewing Mandarin-language documents
