Imperium Commodity Search is supporting a long-standing global brokerage client in Singapore as they seek growth on the dairy risk management and hedging business. With an experienced desk head and a local senior broker managing flows across the dairy space from Singapore, the market and volatility has grown and with it comes an opportunity for an associate level broker/corporate sales person to grow into a commodity derivatives broker position with a global institutional-grade name in the commodity brokerage space. Supporting the desk on client onboarding, sales, business development and hedging and advisory services, you will meet with dairy trading participants from both the corporate and institutional sectors, demonstrating the firms best-in-class execution and hedging services to a growing market segment.
This role suits a junior/associate broker with 1-2 years experinece in corporate sales or commodity brokerage with a desire to join a global name with aggresive expansion capability.
Responsibilities:

• Support dairy clients in trade execution (futures, options, derivatives) for hedging, risk management and speculative purposes
• Provide market commentary and insight to clients in the dairy trading space across APAC, Middle East and Europe
• Work closely with the European office to provide a full, follow-the-sun and connected brokerage solution to the dairy markets
• Keep up to date with market movements, supply and demand and analytics to provide solid advisory and risk management services to the dairy sector across the target region
• Work with partner on the desk to ensure full coverage of the market and support on ad-hoc tasks where required to ensure fluidity of brokerage services
• Ensure compliance and trade management is timely and accurate at all times
• Attend industry events and conferences where required to build relationships with stakeholders and demonstrate the excellent capabilities of the firm across all risk management, hedging and advisory services

Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in a corporate sales or commodity brokerage position (in any asset class)
• Good understanding of derivatives trading or brokerage (futures, options, Listed and OTC)
• Knowledge of the dairy or agricultural markets preferred
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)
• Excellent attention to detail and sales/business development acumen
• Desire to grow with a multinational firm in a commodity brokerage or sales position
• Located/able to work in Singapore
