Treasury & Markets (T&M) provides total solutions to serve DBS clients\' hedging and investment needs with a regional emphasis. Responsibilities

The T&M Digital Business & Strategy team paves a new digital & data road across T&M for new customer and employee journeys. We develop digital strategies and bring drastic pioneering change to the way we do business at T&M. As a Data Analyst, you will be working closely together with our business partners and stakeholders to drive robust and optimal data solutions and to gain full understanding on the business workflow and products under the T&M space.

Some job responsibilities include:

• Identify right data to capture for business problem.
• Profile and analyze the data.
• Assist with the Data Wrangling, ETL and cleansing.
• Present the data to answer the business question(s).
• Prepare simple visualizations to communicate the findings.
• Build Control Towers / dashboards.
• Prepare metadata to aid data ingestion into ADA.
• Explore new data sources and make them available for business use.
• Work closely with Data Translator and Data Scientists on converting business requirements to functional requirements.
• Lead the Business User testing and validation of data model outputs.
• Own the reusable data marts to accelerate product / segment / channel / journey analytics (as needed).
• Promote data self-service within the Product Manager community.

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a credible Strategy / Management Consulting firm or in a role at a major bank or financial institution.
• Understanding of treasury products would be useful but not mandatory.
• Possess working knowledge and familiarity with trading/treasury products, system applications and end-to-end processes.
• Proficient with data wrangling, analytic, transformation using tools such as SQL, excel, Python, Tableau etc. (JIRA, Bitbucket, Github is nice to have).
• Excellent visualization and analytical skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal and writing skills. You are confident in presentations to senior management and to a mass audience.
• Motivated team player, self-starter, strong client focus and meticulous.
• Able to work under pressure.
