We\'re seeking a future team member for the role of Derivatives Middle Office Analyst to join our Middle Office team. This role is located in Singapore - HYBRID.

In this role, you\'ll make an impact in the following ways:

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage various Derivatives trades, including Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD) such as futures, and Over-the Counter (OTC) Derivatives such as swaps, credit default swaps, and FXO. This includes trade capture, trade allocation, exception clearance, trade confirmation, reconciliation, and risk monitoring.
  • Collaborate with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth trade execution and resolution of trade-related discrepancies.
  • Work closely with clients, providing support in managing their Middle Office functions and addressing any inquiries or issues that arise.
  • Suggest improvements to processes and taking ownership of service provided to clients.
  • Deliver work within a tight, deadline driven environment.
  • No direct reports. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to client requests and ensure high-quality client service.
  • Ensure accurate and timely trade capture, validation, and allocation of Derivatives trades, specializing in ETD and OTC products.
  • Communicate and coordinate with brokers, trading desks, and other stakeholders to resolve trade-related discrepancies and issues.
  • Focus is on gaining Middle Office experiences. Keep up to date on the latest market, industry, and regulatory developments to provide informed support and guidance to clients.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the Middle Office function. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Actively contribute to projects aimed at improving processes.
  • Conduct regular reviews and analysis of Middle Office procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Prepares system-generated templates with multiple data sets and utilize them to perform general validation, identify discrepancies, and promptly resolve any issues.
  • Where high volumes are projected, flag any potential service delivery issues as early as possible and assist other team members as directed by line-management.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to expand your knowledge and skills in Derivatives operations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-3 years\' experience in Derivatives Trade support or Middle Office preferred.
  • Understanding of ETD and OTC Derivatives products and processes.
  • Experience in business-facing functions with knowledge of execution, risk, and control.
  • Ability to design, reengineer and/or future proof critical processes and capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build positive relationships.
  • Willingness to take ownership and responsibility.
  • A good team player who can support the overall team deliverables.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
