Working with institutional investors, banks, insurance companies, governments and multinational corporations, Securities Services offers a range of fund administration, global custody, sub-custody and clearing, and corporate trust and loan agency services.We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate Director, Business Manager.Principal ResponsibilitiesThe Markets and Securities Services (MSS) Business Manager is a member of the ASEAN MSS COO team and partners with ASEAN MSS Management team in defining the business strategy and ensuring execution capability across all geographies in the ASEAN region.In executing this mandate, the MSS Business Manager collaborates with the ASEAN MSS Management, front to back support functions and key infrastructure partners to ensure smooth running of the business in the region and optimal alignment of resources (both financial and non-financial) in line with business requirements and risk appetite.The individual will have specific responsibility for and focus on driving the key transformation programmes for MSS in ASEAN.In conjunction with the ASEAN MSS Management, the MSS Business Manager is responsible for:

• Agreeing and implementing MSS best practices for ASEAN region
• Supporting the efficient and smooth running of the day to day business activity of the ASEAN business including active issue management and resolution
• Management and successful execution of all developments and enhancements (both business and IT) that are undertaken by the APAC regional product area
• Ensuring the active execution of the ASEAN and Regional business strategy
• Ensuring consistency of business management across all ASEAN sites
• Formulating and delivering ASEAN contingency procedures
• Interacting with the various functions (both internal and external) that interface to and support the ASEAN MSS business

Requirements

• Understanding of the Markets and Securities Services business
• In-depth understanding of the Markets product suite (GFX, Rates, Flow Credit, Structured Products and Equities)
• Familiarity with the IT architecture and processes that supports Markets and Securities Services business
• Commercially driven with the right risk and control mind-set
• Sharp business acumen, management of financials, ability to make and influence tactical decisions
• Experience in operational, change management and control roles
• Excellent organisation and planning skills and keen sense of prioritisation
• A determined, can-do attitude that inspires others to the same
• A focus on delivering to high standards and at pace
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills - ability to work with senior stakeholders, front to back
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent team player
• Experience in data visualisation and reporting focusing on identifying trends and insights would be an advantage
