Support the formulation and execution of the Clean Tech sector strategy with a view to growing strategic revenues for the Bank.
Business
Support the coverage of clients in the Clean Tech sector and the origination and execution of strategic transactions as part of the Clean Tech Industries team across M&A Advisory and Financing
Perform financial and valuation analyses using various methodologies relevant for the Clean Tech industry
Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyze the impact of different capital structures and potential M&A transactions
Participate in both origination and execution of transactions, from the pitch phase through to closing including due diligence and drafting of documents.
Prepare presentation materials for use in client meetings, covering topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activity and general corporate finance
Maintain up to date knowledge on clients and targets in the Clean Tech space
Research and financial analysis of companies based on company information, research reports, and other information sources
Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the Bank
Involved in day to day project and portfolio management, execution support and stakeholder management
Complete all required credit and regulatory examinations

Our Ideal Candidate
Degree or post graduate qualified from a top-tier school
4+ years of prior experience in an investment banking role with a track record in M&A, Structured Debt, Project Finance, Capital Markets, Financial Markets and Structured Trade transactions
Knowledge of the Clean Tech sector with deal experience in some of the Clean Tech sub-sectors such as Renewables, Green Hydrogen, Electric Vehicles & Battery Value chain, Waste to Energy / Waste Management etc. (Preferred)
Solid financial analysis skills and proficiency in building complex financial models
Good understanding of regulatory and compliance obligations
Ability to excel in both team and self-directed settings
Strong work ethics, detail orientation and a passion for excellence
Effective communication skills both written and oral with internal and external clients and stakeholders
