The Role: Associate Director - Client Engagement, Climate and ESG Credit Risk

The Team:

Credit Analytics is one of the three business lines under Credit & Risk Solutions. This includes a suite of products including Credit Analytics desktop, RiskGauge, Climate Credit Analytics, China Credit Analytics, ProSpread, and Credit Assessment Scorecards, delivered through desktop, excel, and enterprise platforms (including web services, API, feeds, cloud and third party platforms). The products are leveraged by market participants to assess, monitor and manage credit risks across various industry segments and applications.

The Impact:

You will contribute to the success of our Climate/ESG offerings in the Credit & Risk Solutions business of S&P Global Market Intelligence, by providing subject matter expertise to our clients.

What\'s in it for you:

You will have exposure to one of the fastest growing suite of offerings and a strategic priority for the Credit & Risk business line, engaging with our clients across industry segments including Banks, Insurers, Private Equity firms and others.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a true Subject Matter Expert, speaking to the methodology and attributes of our Climate/ESG offerings to clients for their credit and financial risk management workflows
  • Provide analytical interpretation of the impact of Climate/ESG risks on our client\'s exposures for stress testing or scenario analysis in relation to their internal or external reporting requirements
  • Operate in partnership with the pre-sales team to deliver best practices and methodology updates to clients and help strengthen the value proposition of our Climate/ESG offerings
  • Communicate client feedback, competitive intelligence and other market developments on Climate/ESG risks to internal stakeholders in product management, analytical innovation and development teams as well as to team members serving in a similar capacity in other regions
  • Be knowledgeable of S&P Global\'s datasets, products and analytics that serve the overall ESG needs of our clients while supporting the mandate of the Credit & Risk Solutions business
What We\'re Looking For:
  • Degree in business management, corporate finance, commerce or related subjects; MBA, CFA, Certification on ESG will be a plus
  • 7-10 years relevant industry experience with a consistent track record in consulting, financial product specialization or market development serving financial institutions in credit or Climate/ESG risks
  • Understanding of the evolving Climate/ESG risk regulations, and related market needs for analytical solutions
  • Strong communication, organization, presentation skills with confidence in meetings, presentations and dealing with senior executives and decision makers
  • Constructive team player, capable of balancing and prioritizing multiple projects across different teams and industry segments
