Our client is highly regarded in this space and has developed a strong reputation for excellence since it was set up in 2020. They are seeking an exceptional communications professional with a passion for financial storytelling and reputation management with expertise in client servicing and managing key stakeholders.
As an Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in advising senior executives, managing client activity, and strengthening the business's presence across the region. You will help clients build and protect their reputations by delivering sharp insights, standout content and strategic counsel that moves the needle.
Key responsibilities:

• Lead reputation-building and issues management strategies for clients across Asia Pacific
• Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier international and regional financial media
• Take ownership of senior client relationships, providing advisory from strategy through to execution
• Manage client accounts, ensuring excellence in delivery, profitability and resourcing
• Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance, feedback and professional development
• Collaborate with colleagues across Hong Kong, Singapore, the UAE and the UK

Requirements:

• 7-8 years' experience in corporate PR/Comms with experience of working on financial institutions gained either in-house or agency in Asia.
• Strong media relationships across Asia
• International exposure and comfort working across borders
• Deep interest in the future of finance, including sustainability and technology
• A track record of advising senior executives on communications strategy
• An entrepreneurial, self-starting mindset
• Excellent writing, storytelling and analytical skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English; Chinese or other Asian languages an advantage
