ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Associate Director to join the ADC program management team. This will be a permanent role for the right candidate with ample opportunity to grow within the company. The ideal candidate is an organized and strategic thinker with a strong scientific background who thrives in a fast-paced biotech environment.
The Associate Director will be responsible for the management of cross-functional project activities from early development through to the clinic, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and execution of activities while proactively managing risks. The individual will also support strategic planning across platform and programs
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including research, preclinical, regulatory, clinical and commercial functions
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure efficient execution and alignment with corporate goals
  • Drive scenario planning and risk mitigation strategies to address project uncertainties and optimize decision-making
  • Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and communicate updates to stakeholders, including executive leadership
  • Facilitate project team meetings, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and accountability across functions
  • Support strategic planning initiatives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Identify and address operational challenges to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with scientific teams to translate research findings into actionable development strategies
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • PhD, Masters in a scientific discipline such as biology, biomedical sciences, biochemistry, pharmacology, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in program/project management within the pharmaceutical, biotech industry or in management consulting with a focus on life sciences
  • Strong understanding of drug development processes, from discovery through clinical development
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, ensuring efficient project execution, data-driven decision-making, and proactive risk mitigation
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and drive cross-functional collaboration, balancing competing priorities while aligning stakeholders toward shared objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, fostering seamless communication and collaboration across internal teams and external partners
  • Ability to work independently and with the flexibility to handle workflow in a fast-paced start-up environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience in evolving challenges
