We treat each other with care and respect and make time to give everyone a voiceOversee and manage project execution to ensure that the project is successfully delivered on time and within budget, managing change and assessing the operational and financial risks for proposed construction project plans and process for engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project management tasks.Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Fully responsible for the management of a project based at client\'s site.
  • Primary focal point for project execution.
  • Responsible for the safe delivery of projects to budget and schedule.
  • Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution between engineering and construction discipline. (Ex. regular report & meeting monthly/ weekly/ daily)
  • Work closely with Client\'s Teams from Global and Site Facilities, Global EHS, Global Procurement, Corporate Finance as well as external industry agencies and consultants to assure coordination of design and construction with all working groups
  • Manage project changes effectively.
  • Monitor and facilitate the Risk Management process: Work with team to identify Risk and Mitigation measures, seek Opportunities to reduce construction timeline and budget.
  • Provide QAQC/EHS leadership within sphere of influence.
  • Responsible for estimation of scopes at each stage of a project lifecycle.
  • Identify methods for execution of projects and resources required
  • Effective coordination of all elements of the project, with a hands-on, can-do attitude where necessary.
  • Good stakeholder management and interfacing skills
  • Ensure Roles, Responsibilities and Accountabilities are fully understood by the project team, including sub-contractors
  • Development of relationships with internal and external customers and organizations.
  • BIM section
  • Ensure GC executes BIM according to client\'s BIM requirements.
  • Ensure GC provides the BEP (BIM Execution Plan) for construction for client\'s review.
  • Ensure the BIM models are used for constructability studies, space management and EHS with all the discipline engineers.
  • Ensure the BIM models are updated according to constructability studies and perform clash detection prior to producing shop drawings.
  • Provide weekly updates on model progress and the clash detection status and numbers.
  • Control the schedule and quality of project BIM model to match client\'s demands.
  • Supervise each discipline engineer to fully engage in the BIM workflow.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor in a Construction, Building, Project Management, Engineering or Architecture related field.
  • Qualification or Membership of a Major Industry Professional body is desirable.
  • Experience as a construction project manager in EPCM.
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
  • Ability to integrate and work in a global multicultural team
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel on a regular basis
  • Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Understanding of ERP implementation.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Good analytical and organizational abilities required to ensure effective management and decision making.
Minimum Experience & Skills:
  • Suitable candidates are likely to have a minimum of 15 years working experience consist of 10 years\' experience in construction with minimum 5 years in managerial role as a Senior Project Manager, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Demonstrable experience in the management of multi-disciplined semiconductor projects and/or other relevant industries is strongly preferred.
  • Practiced in project control mechanisms and with commercial and technical risk assessments
  • Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to visualize issues and communicate them to others.
  • Outstanding organization, coordination, and leadership skills - ability to coordinate and motivate groups of Consultants / Contractors.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and pro-actively in a team environment.
  • Effective delegation skills.
  • Strong ability in English speaking and writing, be able to communicate with English speaking engineers both verbally and by writing.
  • BIM section
  • Has experience with projects using BIM.
  • Familiar with BIM execution workflow.
  • Has good understanding of BIM CDE (Common Data Environment), preferred with Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Experience with other project management systems would be added advantage.
